Truly, now is the time to visit a national park near (or far from) you. The parks were established to preserve the wild and scenic places in the U.S. for generations to come and I highly recommend taking advantage of them while there are still glaciers to see and clean rivers and lakes in which to dip your toes.

As I mentioned in chapter one, there are many, many parks to explore in the U.S. and even more park systems all over the world. I hope this Snippet has given you a taste of what's out there, but please know I've only scratched the surface. The possibilities for adventure are everywhere and what you take away from a park experience is completely up to you.
