Bill Romanelli

Bill Romanelli is the author of three books, and thinks Thoreau had it right when he chose to “live deep and suck all the marrow out of life.” He has touched the Great Pyramids, scuba-dived the Great Barrier Reef, gazed upon the Mona Lisa, stumbled down Bourbon Street, hooked a Blue Marlin, and seen beauty in the natural world that was more breathtaking and lovely than anything he could have ever imagined. He thought he knew what love was until his children were born and opened his eyes to the real thing, and despite being a full time dad, husband, public affairs professional and writer, he still makes time to look for adventure on land, under water, on the screen, and in the pages of a good comic or novel. His latest book, “After the Fall,” tells the true story of Craig DeMartino, who fell 100 feet in a climbing accident and should have died, but somehow survived, lost a leg, and went on to become the first amputee to climb Yosemite’s El Capitan in a single day.
